Distributed Sensing


Sensin is using fibre optic sensing systems to provide monitoring optimisation. Our digital monitoring solutions are based on Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS), Distributed Temperature and Strain Sensing (DTSS) and Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) technology.

Distributed sensing technology offers a great amount of real time temperature, strain and acoustic measurements. The measurements are distributed along a fibre-optic cable, which serves both for transmission and sensing. Distributed temperature sensing systems’ competitive advantage, is thermal profiles development relative to time and space. Distance is not a restrain factor since the system can be used along the entire installation, using repeater stations.

Distributed sensing technology is giving solutions at all market fields of Sensin’s expertise. We supply our advanced equipment from the British pioneer company Sensornet Ltd. part of the Tendeka family of companies, with expertise in oil and gas technologies and reservoir monitoring.
